It's a Pity concludes both versions of the I Tell You What album with a statement about love and the importance of keeping your heart open for it albeit it might be dangerous. The song itself, however, is quite a melancholic piece. In this episode, I'm talking about how it happened and what is it made of.

Don't Bother is one of the goofiest songs that I have ever written... as compared to the rest of my catalog, of course. With that being said, it doesn't mean there's nothing to it at all. Every joke has a grain of truth to it, and quite often, that truth ain't very funny.

Sky-Lit Eyelids is a noir 'esque with a jazzy flavor to its melodic and harmonic body. At the same time, due to the way it's arranged, it rather resembles a post/alt-rock piece. It's a deeply romantic love song.

This time, I'm talking about Omitted which is the 6th track from the I Tell You What album. It's a relatively simple piece compared to the majority of my catalog, however, it still harbors quite a few peculiarities and sports a prominent funky vibe regardless of its rather dark-pop tendencies.

I am disclosing the story behind the song, why was it born and how, and also walk you through its melodic and harmonic composition.
