Scott looks at how knowing and being immersed in the truth of the gospel is pivotal in our walk with Jesus. How it helps us spot lies, counterfeits and anything that would look to sneak it's way into our lives that isn't from God.

In this next section of Paul's letter he outlines a plan for integrity. A plan that helps us to do navigate the different challenges that life can bring and ultimately to help us walk in a way that honours God.

Continuing in Paul's 2nd letter to the church in Corinth we encounter a particular situation where Paul addresses his concerns for the church and their maturity in Christ, they have made great promises but it now time to deliver on them and Paul, Titus and his other associates demonstrate the need for accountability to be a dynamic aspect of our lives if we wish to advance and complete the good works that God has prepared for us. Getting enthusiastic about God and his church, getting a team and getting on will see us do great things for God

God has given us 'weapons' to demolish the strongholds (ideas and beliefs that have a strong hold on minds and hearts) that prevent people from entering into a relationship with Him.

This week Sarah looks at 2 Cor 8:16 – 9:5. In this section of Paul's letter to the Corinthians, through his own actions he sets up a really good framework for us on how to live a life of integrity through the plans that we make and the people we put in place to surround ourselves and our plans with.

We looked at how Paul defended his ministry to the Corinthian church because he had a good understanding of what the harvest looked like. He encourages us to use God's Tools for the battle that we are in and to keep a Godly perspective.

This week Tammy looks at 2 Cor 7:2-16 and we explored the way in which God transforms our tough times into something wonderful.

Paul encourages the Corinthians to asses their connections into their prevailing culture. James helps us understand what and who is influencing us.

As we grow older, it can seem the wise thing to do is to close our heart off to those who have hurt us. Paul urges the Corinthian church, and us today, to live with an open heart. To live with an open heart we must: extinguish the power of offence; exercise encouragement; embrace endurance.
