Catfishing God doesn’t work. You can’t deceive God. The only way to get to heaven is to do the will of God the Father. “This is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes In Him will have eternal life” (John 6:40). Works or being good won’t get you into heaven. You will have eternal life only by faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone. “For by grace are you saved through faith and it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should brag about it” (Eph 2:8-9). Faith and works cancel each other. Do not give Satan an opportunity to impugn God’s name by being a deceiver. You can’t catfish God. Rebound, using 1 John 1:9, will cleanse you from your hidden sin.
