In a reading from the Acts of the Apostles, 4: 13-21, the leaders and elders think Peter, John, and the cripple who was cured, were uneducated and told them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus but, Peter had his say.
In the Gospel according to Mark, 16:9-15, Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, two walking on their way to the country, and told others but, no one believed them. Jesus gives the Eleven a directive.
