1 Samuel 1:1-2:11 - Pastor Ben begins a 2-part series on the life of Samuel - the last judge and the first prophet. In part 1 we see how the Lord uses the barrenness in the life of the Believer for a greater purpose. We also see how the faithfulness and patience of a godly woman brings a "Samuel" into the world!

Jude 1:14-25 - Pastor Rit finishes the Book of Jude!

Jude reminds us that our Lord Jesus Christ will "execute judgement" and "convict all who are ungodly" and that as prophesied that "there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts". These mockers will cause divisions - "not having the Spirit".

Jude then encourages the Believers to build themselves up on their "most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit", "keeping [themselves] in the love of God" and to look forward the coming of the Lord!

Jude 1:8-11 - Woe to those who pervert the Word of God and have sold themselves for manna! God will rebuke and punish these evil doers.

Exodus 39:1-40:38 -

Jude 1:1-8 - Written to the Believer, Jude (half-brother of Jesus Christ) writes to exhort the Church to "contend earnestly for the faith" because heretical teachers have "crept in". We today are to continue the same fight and mark those who teach heresy. Jude also reminds us that the Lord "destroyed those who did not believe".

Exodus 37:1-38:31 - Pastor David covers Exodus chapters 37 and 38 ... the making of the Ark, Table, Lampstand, Alter of Incense, Alter of Burnt Offering, Bronze Basin and Court ... and the materials used to make the Tabernacle (how much gold, silver, bronze? and how much would it cost today!?).

John 17:20-26 - Jesus prays for the Church (us!) and that the future Church would be one in His Glory.

Topical -

Exodus 35:1-36:38 - Through Moses, God commands the people to keep the Sabbath - it is a holy day. While we are no longer under the Law, do we make time for God?

God then asks Moses to take an offering - from those of a willing heart! God never just takes; He receives. In return, God equips the people to have the knowledge and skill to build the Tabernacle. God also equipped the people to be able to teach others so that they can help.

The people gave so much that Moses had to "restrain" the people from bring more!

Are we willing to give of ourselves so that the Master can use us to do His work!?

3 John 1:1-13 - Pastor Rit covers 3 John, which is a personal letter from the Apostle John to Gaius. In this letter, the Apostle John rejoices that he's heard great reports from others of Gaius' faith and his service to the Church. The Apostle John informs Gaius of another leader in the church, Diotrephes, and his evil deeds. The Apostle John ends his letter praising Demetrius for his good testimony.

We see in this Epistle that the Apostle John was not slack in naming someone who is teaching heresy and harming the Church.
