Exodus 34:10-35 - God makes a covenant with His people Israel - He "will do marvels such as have not been done in all the earth" and "drive out the inhabitants of the land". God then spells out what the people must do in return. And the people see how Moses' face shone from being in the presence of God.

2 John 1:1-13 - The Apostle John - known as the Apostle of Love - reminds Believers that "this is love, that we walk according to His commandments". The Apostle John also cautions Believers not to have any fellowship with those who teach and espouse a different doctrine. May God give the Church the strength to do all this!

Exodus 33:1-34:9 - Even though Israel saw the wondrous works of God during their exodus from Egypt they still turned to idols and worshiped them. And even though God calls Israel "a stiff-necked people", He still replaces the two tablets of stone Moses broke in anger in Exodus 32. We should be so thankful that our Lord does not turn His back on us when we wander from His ways!

Exodus 32:7-35 - The Israelists create for themselves the golden cafe and worship it. Moses pleads on behalf of the people for God not to show His wrath against them. Here we see Moses shepherding heart for the people. As Christians we too ought to be interceding for both the saved and unsaved. Are we?

1 John 5:9-21 - As a born-again Believer we have the confidence of Eternal Life with Jesus Christ! We must make sure that we do not believe the wisdom of man over the Wisdom that it from above and also make sure we keep ourselves from idols - for they pull us away from the Will of God!
