We're diving deep into the Fruit of the Spirit—and first up is love. Pastor Bob urged us to stay plugged into the source, like an iPhone plugged into a charger or an orange simply abiding and growing on a tree. If we remain connected to the source, we will exhibit fruit. And to exhibit love is our greatest gift we can give to others. We get to see it manifest not that we love God but that he loved us. And sent his son to die for us.

We are close to death every day. But at the same time, we are just as close to life. Like the repentant thief on the cross, we have access to the kingdom of paradise with Jesus at any moment. There is a God who loves you more than anything you can imagine, and you were made to connect with Him. To live life abundantly.

We finally made it to the part of the series where we actually talk about the fruit in Galatians! And get comfy, because we're going to be spending a lot of time studying the Fruit of the Spirit. Pastor Bob dug into chapter five, where we highlighted the victory we have over the flesh just by walking with the Spirit. It's a lifestyle where the Holy Spirit will lead you into fruitful territory.

We dove back into Galatians 4 this past Sunday as Pastor Bob's message reminded us why we traded in religion for relationship. We have access to God as children because of Christ! We have an Abba. A Heavenly Father. A Dad to remind us who we are and how loved we are. Sunday's message encouraged us to really know the Father. Listen below if you missed it!

Pastor Adler Roberts jumped to Galatians 5 and broke down freedom for us. As Americans, it's easy to think we can define and understand freedom, but when we look at what Jesus did for us, it means so much more. Check out Sunday's service to dive deeper into the freedom that Christ set us free for.

Another incredible Sunday studying Galatians. Let the word of God set you free! Pastor Bob reminded us that there is nothing we can add to the gospel of grace. And that religion poisons everything... so good thing Christianity is a solely relationship with Jesus! He left us with the question, "What have you taken to the dumpster?" as in, what have you crucified with Christ so that He may live in you?

This past Sunday, we dove into the Law. Many Christians may be tempted to throw out the Old Testament, but we learned three observations of the importance the law as mentioned in Galatians:

The law had a purpose. And because we can't measure up to the standards of the law, it brought us to Christ. And through Him, the law has fulfilled that purpose.

We've covered that Jesus rescued us from sin into freedom. But can we keep this freedom? Can we enjoy it? Pastor Bob took us through the beginning of Galatians 3 and focused—yet again—on the gospel of grace. Abraham, mentioned in verse 6, wasn't holy or righteous on his own. He was called by God. And we are called by God and called by grace.

Pastor Bob kicked off our new series rooted in the book of Galatians—also known as the "Christian Declaration of Independence." As we studied Jesus' rescue mission ("...who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from this present evil age"), we zeroed in on the gospel, grace, and freedom. It was an incredible Sunday glorifying the costly gift of grace. God has come to make us free, to enjoy our freedom, and never go back to what enslaved us.

This weekend we got to hear from Pastor John Clifford as he took us through 1 John, and all things love. The beauty of understanding and experiencing love comes from knowing God intimately. God is love, so to know one, you get the other.
