This past Sunday was a Moment Sunday with extended worship from Moment Worship and a teaching from Anna Walker Roberts. It was such a powerful time of confession and repentance as Anna likened God's care for us to a mother who washes her child's laundry.

On Sunday, we got to hear from Pastor Adler Roberts at both Main Campus & Ardmore Campus on Psalm 51 and how the revelation of the cross is the ultimate resolution David longed for in the Psalm and is readily available to us today.

Pastor Bob led us through Psalm 150 and talked about the heart of worship, theology of worship and the styles of worship. Scripture clearly invites us to praise the Lord all throughout the Psalms and Pastor Bob gives tangible language to how we can do this today.

Pastor Bob lead us through the green pasture that is Psalm 23 this past Sunday. He reminded us that there's a God who blesses us, who knows each and every one of us, and who is pursuing us.

This week, Pastor Shem preached on one of the most personal passages in the Bible: Psalm 139. God wants us to know who we are so we aren’t shaken and tossed. So we can stand confidently. Restfully. To be known is man’s highest need—and God wants you to know that He knows you completely. 

How involved do you think God is with your individual life? Does your individual story make sense? This week, Mike Guaglione used Psalm 66 as the biblical view of how we view our stories. Your story not only makes sense, but inextricably involves God in every single way.

Pastor John Reilly kicked off our new series for the next 6 weeks by diving into Psalm 1. How do we live a blessed, happy life? God went through great measures to make the happy and blessed life a reality for us—all through the blood of Jesus. Pastor John gave us four 4 indicators of the blessed person:

But really, he boiled it down to blessing is what you get when all you want is God.

Pastor Bob completed our 1 John series this past Sunday with his message on love. To put it plainly, God was at his best when he ambushed you with his love. Period.

This week, Pastor Bob continues our 1 John series into chapter 3. As Christians it is important for us to identify ourselves as Children of God, and what comes with that. Jesus taught us what it means to be the Abba's child. Behold what manner of love the Father has lavished upon us to be called the children of God!
