  • The Nature of Evil

The False Prophet, or Beast from the Earth, will be like the Antichrist in that he's merely the ultimate fulfillment of every false teacher that came before him. He looks like the real deal, acts like the real deal, but his message is where it all falls apart. From his example, we can also test the little false prophets that come our way today.

    1. The message is what makes someone a false teacher, not their appearance.
    2. False teachings never tolerate criticism.
    3. Every standard the false teachers try to imitate, the Bible passes.

  • Salvation - Can You Lose It?

Peter’s greatest spiritual fall was not unlike our own. Whether it was based on fear, selective remembrance of God’s Word designed to condemn him, or an unwillingness to receive the mercy he needed, all are simply delaying what God wants to do in our lives in response to our sin as well as in the lives of others who need the same restoration we do.

    1. Legalism sets us up for spiritual failure.
    2. Restoration is what we should seek first after a fall.
    3. Relate the Comfort you’ve received to others.

  • Islamic Nations and the Antichrist

A perspective is shown regarding the eerie parallels borrowed from Christianity and Judaism and Islam playing directly into the hands of the future Antichrist being set up to fall for the Antichrist's deception.

    1. The Bible is written from the perspective of Israel.
    2. Israel is the epicenter of God's dealings with this world.
    3. Islam is the most graphic example of the kind of world scene the Antichrist will introduce during his reign.

  • The Practical Power of Prayer

Jesus' prayer in the garden demonstrates for us the true purpose of prayer. It's not about receiving our desires, but aligning our desires with God's. That alignment will give us the emotional, physical, and relational peace we need to endure the trials we are currently facing or about to face. Prayer is a resource we should make an essential part of our every day lives no matter where we're at in life.

    1. Prayer provides the physical comfort and peace we need.
    2. Prayer equips us to endure the trials we're not yet in.
    3. Prayer puts into perspective where God is during trials.

  • The Patience of the Saints

The Antichrist has had many foreshadowing's throughout history, but his fulfillment will put them all to shame. Yet regardless of his ministry of deception and copying everything Jesus did historically as his own, we can still be reminded of two key realities. God isn't moved by the 3 ½ years he'll be allowed to slander, accuse, and persecute the people of God. All we need to take away is that the major trials of life and death are endured by the same faith and patience that enduring every day temptations and opportunities to live for God provide for us.

    1. The world wants a god that can make them happy even at the cost of truth, at it's exactly what they'll get.
    2. The one and only power of the enemy is to deceive.
    3. People who are faithful in living for Jesus will have the patience to die for Him when the time comes.

  • Showdown in Gethsemane

Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane demonstrates for us what real prayer looks like. He spoke to His Father. He genuinely expressed how He was feeling about what He was talking about. And most importantly, He understood the purpose wasn't to get what He wanted, but to align what He wanted with the heart of His Father.

    1. Prayer isn't about giving God information, but pursuing intimacy with Him.
    2. Prayer isn't about getting anything from God apart from His heart towards our circumstances.
    3. Prayer isn't talking at God with a series of sermon quotes and clichés. It's talking to God. Plain and Simple.

  • The Root of Anti-Semitism

The significance of the twelfth chapter of Revelation is understood the same way the first eleven and the last ten will be. Come to the text with a plain understanding of the previous 65 books of the Bible. Read the text as a whole before coming to conclusions about it. And understand that the actions and attitude of our enemy aren't the focus of the book. It's the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Any attention given to our enemy should be taken in order to make Jesus all the more glorious.

    1. Our victory against the enemy is only found in the finished work of Jesus Christ.
    2. If you haven't read the first 65 books of the Bible, the 66th isn't going to make a lot of sense to you.
    3. Satan hates the Jewish people. Don't follow his example.

  • Motherhood Part 1

Satan's War on Women targets their unique ministry as an obstacle to their happiness rather than a calling given to them by God. The only way to avoid this self-deception is to understand what it means to be given a calling by God to begin with.

    1. Roles determine purpose, not value.
    2. Men and Women were created to compliment one another's purposes. Not dispossess them.
    3. Man's attempt to subvert nature is never more plainly demonstrated as evil when it compels a mother to end the life she is given the honor to nurture.

  • Motherhood Part 2

What the world calls repulsive and foolish, God can use to glorify Himself in ways that will have eternal significance. Just like a mother's suffering allows the life of a child to grow, Christ's suffering gave us all a life we'd never have apart from Him.

    1. Childbirth glorifies God the same way the Cross did.
    2. Childbirth illustrates the Gospel.
    3. Childbirth explains the process of Spiritual Growth.

  • Motherhood Part 3

God has given mothers an incredible honor to impact their homes in ways no one else can. This can be used to bring them closer to God, or it can be used to make them the greatest obstacle between their family and God. An incredible opportunity brings with it an incredible risk, and therefore should be a responsibility taken seriously.

    1. The greater something's capacity for good, the greater its potential for evil.
    2. There is nothing more constructive to a home than a Godly mother.
    3. There is nothing more destructive to a home than a Godless mother.
