  • Rewards in Heaven

This Sunday we will be looking at the Believer's Rewards. The Bible says that after all believers, dead and and alive, are removed from the earth at the rapture of the Church, believers will be judged individually for their works as the Lord's servants.  Special rewards will be handed out that will make the Olympics look like child's play. This judgment has nothing to do with our salvation. Rather it has to do with the kind of Christian we have been, a judgment of our faithfulness as followers of Christ. This Sunday we will look at these rewards, how to earn them, and what we do with them!

  • Extreme Makeover

The biblical perspective on death is different from the world’s point of view. Death is to be embraced, not feared. We have hope in the midst of our sorrow. Death is the pathway to the wonderful resurrection body God has planned for the believer. If we did not die, we would be stuck with our aging body for all eternity. Paul strikes a positive note right up front, saying that death is not to be feared. It’s what has to occur before we can be changed. Without death there is no resurrection. This Sunday we will look at what the Bible says our Resurrection Body will be like. Join us this Sunday for our Extreme Makeover.

  • Will Heaven be boring

Randy Alcorn has written a best-selling book simply titled, Heaven.  In it, he says, “Our belief that heaven will be boring is really saying God is boring.  There is no greater nonsense. Our desire for pleasure and the experience of joy come directly from God’s hand. He made our taste buds, adrenaline, and the nerve endings that convey pleasure to our brains. Likewise our imaginations and our capacity for joy and exhilaration were made by the very God we accuse of being boring. Are we so arrogant that we imagine that human beings came up with the idea of having fun?"   Join us this Sunday as we look at why I know heaven won't be boring!

  • What happens when we die

Everyone wants to know what happens to people when they die. Where are they and how are they? But that’s not just a modern day concern. Paul wrote to the Thessalonians Christians so they would not be ignorant about those who had "fallen asleep” 1Thessalonians 4:13. Falling asleep was, of course, a metaphor for death. Jesus used the word to describe Lazarus' death. Dr. Luke described Stephen’s death as falling asleep (Acts 7:60), and Paul described the death of David in the Old Testament the same way (Acts 13:36). The Bible has the answer, and it is illustrated clearly in a story told by Jesus about two individuals who went to two different places when they died. This Sunday we will look at the testimonies of the Rich Man and Lazarus which are found in Luke 16:19-31.

  • Heaven is Important

Polls from the Barna and Gallup organizations tell us there is little difference between the morals and lifestyles of Christians and non-Christians. I believe the absence of a focus on heaven is in large part of the blame.  When we lose sight of the fact that God has a wonderful destination prepared for those who are His, we start trying to create heaven on earth. We start investing our time and talent and treasure in creating a place that we know in our heart is what we were created for (Ecclesiastes 3:11). We know there is supposed to be a heaven; and when we stop seeking the biblical heaven, we try to create an earthly one. This Sunday we will be looking at Why Heaven is Such an Important Place for Christians.

  • My family gets to see it - P2

We continue this Sunday with part 2 of “God Will Do It Again and Our Family Gets to See It!" The most important goal for parents is to raise their children in God’s will and for His glory. The task of raising children is one of the highest importance with eternal consequences. Creating a godly home for your children should be your highest priority of all of your earthly ministries. When everything else in life is weighed and considered in the light of what is truly important; there is no greater ministry than that of discipling your children for Christ. Your children are your greatest investment in the future. The Bible is clear when it reminds us that children are a precious gift from the Lord (Psalm 127:3-5). This Sunday, we'll look closely at Parenting by the Book from Deuteronomy 6:1-9.

From this passage we will learn the steps to pass on a spiritual foundation for your family. These next two Sundays will be two of the most important messages that we, as parents and grandparents, could ever hear and apply. This Sunday we begin with part one, and next Sunday, we conclude with part two. Don’t miss these life changing truths!

  • I have a part in it

This Sunday we will be looking at Mark 6:30-44. This passage of scripture deals with one of the most talked about miracles in the Bible, the feeding of the five thousand. We will look at what happens when one young child obeys God and doesn’t miss an opportunity to give everything he has so that Jesus can really use it. This young lad did not miss the opportunity to be involved in something bigger than himself. This Sunday we will look at how we can be part of something bigger than ourselves and do something great for God.

  • Satan can't stop us

This Sunday we will be starting a series titled DEAR 2021! We begin with “God’s Doing It Again, and The Devil Can’t Stop It”. Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, “I will build My Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” The enemy's central task and desire is to prevent God from being worshiped and glorified. This Sunday we will see how Satan’s strategy can’t and won't work against a spirit-filled church. We will be looking at six things the devil can’t do against God’s Church.
