An initial four-day cease-fire in the war between Israel and Hamas took effect this morning in Gaza. At this writing, there have been no reports of fighting for several hours, and sixty trucks carrying aid have entered Gaza from Egypt. With the looming threat of WWIII and other global fears you may be facing, it can be difficult to “give thanks in all circumstances,” as the Bible says. But for Thanksgiving to be a daily lifestyle rather than an annual holiday, we have to learn to give thanks every day, including our hardest days.
