In the latest instalment of Netflix's crime anthology series 'Historia De Un Crimen', 'The Search' explores the investigation of the disappearance of Paulette Gebara Farah that shook Mexico in 2010. The dramatized series documents the corruption, inadequacies and discrepancies in the investigation leading up to the discovery of the body of the young girl.

Early on in the investigation, Attorney General Alberto Bazbaz (Dario Yazbek) decides that the mother Lizette Farah (Verónica Bravo) is at fault. They don't look at her as a suspect but the sole perpetrator of the crime and, over the course of the investigation, even employ various of their resources in proving just that, gathering information by threat and pressure eventually manipulating it against Lizette. His health case specialist made public statements at press conferences that she had personality disorders and given that she did not shed a tear after the disappearance, was capable of anything.

The most horrifying new addition on Netflix isn’t a scary movie. It’s a Spanish-language limited series. The Search revolves around one terrifying night when a young girl disappears from her bedroom in the middle of the night. There are no signs of forced entry. There’s only pain and mystery. There are a lot of terrifying moments in The Search, but the scariest one is undoubtably the fact that this shocking story is based on a real crime.

An investigation was underway Saturday morning into the detainment of former "Saturday Night Live" cast member and comedian Jay Pharoah by Los Angeles police in Tarzana.

Pharoah said in a video posted to his Instagram account Friday that he was jogging in the area of Ventura Boulevard and Corbin Avenue in late April when four officers stopped him and ordered him to get on the ground.

Surveillance video shows officers with guns drawn ordering Pharoah to the ground. He complies and the officers move in and place him in handcuffs.

The comedian said officers told him he fit the description of a suspect wanted for a crime in the area.

A couple of days ago, CM Punk took to Twitter and slammed everyone who wasn't speaking up about the ongoing Black Lives Matter movement which gained momentum after an African-American man named George Floyd was killed by white police officers. After posting his tweet, CM Punk started interacting with fans who have been going out to join the George Floyd protests. When fans commented on how they saw AJ Styles promoting his video game streams while staying quiet about the Black Lives Matter movement, CM Punk criticised AJ Styles and said Styles’ beliefs have been obvious for years.

Even though both AJ Styles and CM Punk haven’t faced each other in WWE, the duo has lately indulged in a war of words. Recently, Punk bashed Styles for keeping a mum over the killing of George Floyd. He replied (now deleted) to a fan, who questioned Styles’ silence by tagging Punk.

Addressing the same, AJ Styles has a subtle comeback for Punk. While talking to Times Of India, he said, “I will not react at all coming from a guy like that I don’t have any respect anyway. It doesn’t really matter. Look, my job as a performer is to perform and get the mind off all the things that have happened throughout the world. I am not going to react to people saying ridiculous and stupid things.”

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle is reportedly 'mortified' over her best friend Jessica Mulroney's threats to sue a black influencer. 

Meghan is believed to be so shocked and upset that she can 'no longer be associated with her', her close friends revealed to Daily Mail. A close pal said, "Meghan is absolutely mortified that she's been dragged into this complete mess. She doesn't believe Jessica is racist, but the way she handled the situation (with the fashion influencer) was tone-deaf and heartbreaking."

In light of the incident, Mulroney has been fired from ABC's 'Good Morning America' and has seen her reality TV show being canceled. Mulroney had threatened to sue a black influencer Sasha Exeter after the two had got into an argument over racism on the social media platform, Instagram.

In the new series, the Handy Dandy Notebook is essentially a reporter's notebook-style extension on a cell phone case, and while you still get to hear the mail song, it's remixed a bit, and usually the messages come via email. All of this is, it appears, a bridge too far for some now-adult fans of the original series, and when some of these details were highlighted on Twitter, the series trended.

Howard Stern has become the latest in a long list of celebrities and power players to be forced to confront their use of blackface.

On Thursday a video appeared online showing Stern in minstrel-style makeup, liberally using the N-word. It was cut together with a recent appearance on “The View” during which he claimed he’d never used that word.

Sources tell Page Six that the clip — a skit that seems to take aim at Ted Danson’s infamous 1993 blackface performance with then-girlfriend Whoopi Goldberg — was part of Stern’s “New Year’s Rotten Eve Pageant,” which aired on pay-per-view on December 31 that year.
