The Celtics emphasized ball movement for most of their win against the Nuggets, where they led throughout and closed defensively in the second half. Strong minutes from Aaron Nesmith and Robert Williams off the bench with JaysonTatum built double-digit leads, and Jaylen Brown played masterfully into the fourth on the way to 27 points. Kemba Walker "is on a good two-game streak," Stevens said. "I thought we handled their runs well and stayed the course throughout the whole game ... the ball was popping ... we rewarded guys for running ... and cutting more than we have in the last few weeks."
