Gordon Hayward made his return to the Garden, as he watched last night's game from behind the Celtics bench. Jaylen Brown led the way for the team in this victory, but did so with a heavy heart. His best friend passed away just a day before the game. With the Celtics not in action tonight, there are still plenty of games around the league to watch.
The Boston Celtics took a 13-game winning streak into Thursday’s marquee matchup against the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors, winners of seven straight games themselves, took their championship belt to the TD Garden Thursday night.
What transpired was a gritty 17-point come from behind victory, as the Celtics beat the powerhouse Warriors by a final of 92-88, extending Boston’s winning streak to 14 games.
