Atlanta became the first team to score more than 95 points and shoot better than 46% from the field since Milwaukee scored 108 in the Celtics' home opener. The Celtics do however escape Atlanta winners by a final score of 110-107, and return to Boston with a nine-game winning streak and the NBA's best record under their belts.
The Celtics picked up their eighth straight win against the Magic on Sunday night. They now will face the Hawks in the second leg of this back to back but might be without forward Marcus Morris who is on a back to back restriction. In ESPN's weekly power rankings, the Celtics jumped up to number three, making their first top-three appearance this season. There isn't much going on around the NBA tonight, with a just three games in total being played.
