Kevin Garnett felt his former team needed his inspirational words and made sure they were received. The Boston Celtics all agreed they got the message and were pumped up about it. Brad Stevens made an adjustment to expose Robin Lopez's defense by running pick and rolls at him with Isaiah Thomas and Al Horford. The move appears to have kept down his minutes. Rajon Rondo is expected to be out 2 weeks at the minimum, thus likely missing the entire series.

After a long and productive season – one in which they made history with their first playoff series win as a franchise – the Maine Red Claws ultimately succumbed to the Raptors 905 in the D-League Eastern Conference Finals, a 103-88 final Wednesday night in Mississauga, Ontario.
Demetrius Jackson's 21 points weren't enough for Maine, as the 905 defense held the Red Claws to 43 percent shooting on just 75 attempts from the field.
The win puts the 905 in the D-League Finals for the first time in franchise history.
