When sin entered the world, there was a funeral for all of mankind. But God brought a gift to this funeral: the promise of Jesus, who would come and make things right again. Christmas is the story of how everything will be made the way it is supposed to be.

Hope is the expectation we put on the future. Hope without a foundation is a fairy tale. Our future is uncertain but our God is not!

Being in Christ means we have access to strength, power, endurance and patience for whatever we experience in this life.

God's purpose is to sum all things up in Christ - to unite all things in him. This means that the broken universe will one day be harmonious. This fragmented and dissolving reality will be mended in Jesus. He is more than our savior who died for our sins, he is the point of everything!

Although we have many different interests and backgrounds and even convictions in many areas, we are united in Jesus because we all have had the experience of being saved by His death and resurrection!

Christian—hear this: God loves you and the death of Jesus proves it. His love for you is not because of you but because of him. His love for you is rooted in an historical event, not in our obedience.

It is this one faith that we all share that unites us together above all else.

Humans are hope-fueled creatures. That is why it so very important for us to invest our hope in the right place. A loss of hope is a death sentence. And misplaced hope is even worse. What you hope in defines your life. All Christians have reason to hope because of JESUS.
