This week we will talk about Paul's instructions as faith runners and how that preparation for this race rests on us.

Faith is essential to a Biblical walk with the Lord (Heb 11:6). In Hebrews 12:2 it states, “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith…” Jesus is the One from whom our faith originates. This week we will get the best understanding of this verse looking at the context, extending back to Hebrews 11.

We have also learned to apply the JOY of the LORD through abiding in Christ. Now as we endeavor to spread joy and learn of its benefits, we near the conclusion of this series learning to attain the GREATEST JOY.

The next question we will answer is, "How is His JOY made full in us?"

This week we will study the third effort we can give to intentionally ABIDE... to SERVE.

This week we will discuss the second effort we can give to intentionally ABIDE which is to LEARN of God’s Word and ways.

Abiding in Christ requires our intentional effort. The first thing we can do to intentionally abide is to Worship!

If the JOY of the Lord is our strength, then learning to apply and walk in that JOY is vital to living a healthy, strong Christian life. The real question we must seek to answer in Part to of JOY is, “How can I experience daily the JOY of the Lord that is my strength?”

The JOY of the LORD is different from other joys in the world. Because God is the source, it is more than a feeling.
