This week we will continue to answer specific questions regarding our call o function as a City on a Hill. Why do we believe it’s time for Center of raise to function as a City on a Hill? How will we do it? As with previous teachings, we’ll see how Jesus clearly sets the example for His church to be a “searchlight” for those who are in darkness.

What does it mean to be a City on a Hill? Why do we believe it’s time for

Center of Praise to function as a City on a Hill? How will we do it? What will be the outcome? The answers to these questions are at the core of what we seek to learn in this new teaching series called City on a Hill 2020.

As we come to the close of our One Story Teaching Series, we’ll examine a scene exclusive to the book of Luke often called The Road to Emmaus. The question we seek to answer is simple and straight forward; now what? After living, shedding His blood, dying and raising from the grave, what does Christ require now of the believer?

As we draw near the close of this teaching series, we find ourselves at one of the most meaningful, powerful, and for many, unbelievable aspects for the Gospel accounts: THE RESURRECTION. We will seek to answer two questions: 1. Is the resurrection believable? 2. What does the resurrection mean for the believer?

Our character this week is different from any other in that it is alive yet not a person. Its significance however is immeasurable in the story of Gospel. Today we examine the Blood of Jesus.

In today’s teaching we’ll take a closer look at a character in the Gospel accounts who’s not only often overlooked, but also disliked. Our objective is to understand how the Gospel exposes sin and brings us all to a place of making life-altering choices, for better or worse.

Here in Week 10 of our One Story series we’ll take a closer look at the tory of Mary and Martha. There are many potential distractions that can derail us from being effective carriers of the Gospel. Our objective is to learn how to remain focused on the Necessary Thing in a world full of distractions.

Throughout the Gospel accounts we continually see how Jesus cares for both the physical and spiritual needs of all. It is clearly demonstrated that the Gospel is for everyone. Today we’ll once again see how Jesus cares for those that others have rejected and learn to serve in ways that facilitate transformation.

At this point in our teaching we’ll observe Jesus sending His disciples out into the harvest and gain insight from His instructions and their results. We’ll again seek to understand how this story informs our lives today.
