There is too much information in God's Word to cover this topic, even in two messages. Many Bible scholars believe that we live in the end of the End Days, as given in biblical prophecy. So, we need to be educated the best we can be in future events. If God's Word gives so much information throughout in both the Old and New Testaments that speak prophetically of the End Times, shouldn't we diligently and carefully study and understand as much as we can? That's our intent, that we hear and understand what God has to say to the Church, the "Bride of Christ" that Jesus is coming back for so that we can be warned of the coming Wrath of God and also to know of His loving patience and longsuffering. The title is “The Purpose and Timing of the Tribulation.” This pastor and many others believe that we are living in the end of the end times. Searching scriptures tells us that the next Biblical prophetic event is the Rapture of the Church. After that comes the most horrific time the world will ever face; this is called the Tribulation. This is a 7-year period in which God deals with people who have rejected His Son Jesus, the False Prophet, the Anti-Christ, Satan, and his demonic horde. If you’ve been in the Church, you’ve probably heard of this, but do you understand what this time is all about and why it must happen? This is the focus of the message today. If the Bible speaks so much about the end time events, we must study what it says and understand as much as possible. Come study along with us and prepare your heart to meet Jesus in the air when He comes to snatch His Bride away. No one who understands what’s to come will choose to miss this event and suffer through the Tribulation.

Learning to love the Lord with all of our heart, mind, and soul brings a renewal of our mind. This is significant because most of our battles are in our "mind." The enemy of our soul understands that if he can capture our mind, he can capture the rest of our being. He comes to seek and destroy. But, our mindset should be one of the Lord, and when we are, we are a peculiar people. The world will not understand us, and in many ways, we will seem strange to them. This is how we protect ourselves from the enemy's deception by losing our minds and taking on the mind of Christ. Hope comes from a relationship with God in our life. Sunday, June 18, 2023 – Happy Father’s Day! This service is a “Tribute to Dad.” We will have numerous speakers today, all paying tribute to their father. But before we get to that, Pastor Mike shares encouragement for those that may not have had a dad that some would feel deserve a “tribute.” What do you do if that is you? First of all, no dad is a perfect one; they all have made mistakes. However, there is one perfect Father, and He is our Heavenly Father. He is a role model for all fathers to follow. Whether your relationship with your dad was good or not so good, there are many valuable lessons we can learn from dads. If you are in the middle of “being” a young dad, or a great-granddad, there’s always time to “be” the dad God would have one to be or to make amends for some of the things one may need to do. Either way, God loves us, and in His perfect nature, He is a good, good Father that we want to honor today and our earthly fathers.

However, that's not what God would have at all. He gives good instruction and fair warnings in His Word that we can be educated and comforted. Will we know the Day and hour of Jesus' return to take the Church away? No, but we can know the season and should be living with anticipation of meeting Jesus in the air. That's what this message is about. We can be completely confident in our relationship with Jesus; that will take all fear away and replace it with a joyful excitement of what that Day and the thereafter will be like as we see Jesus face-to-face. Sunday, June 4, 2023 – Today's message is "The Practicality of the Holy Spirit Baptism." We live in the "Church age," – which by definition is post-Pentecost, meaning after Jesus ascended, God sent the Holy Spirit to be with men, to be His active agent on earth. We will discover today that as a person diligently seeks the Holy Spirit with all of his heart, Jesus promises to fill and Baptize with the power of the Holy Spirit. Admittedly many struggle with this, possibly because too much focus is on the manifestation of the Holy Spirit's gifts rather than emphasizing seeking a relationship with God – the Giver of the gifts. We need to focus on the presence and relationship with the Holy Spirit with an open heart and be ready to receive all that God's Holy Spirit desires to give. It's not as complicated as we make it out to be, and we certainly should not have any fear or angst in seeking the power of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit as was on the Day of Pentecost. It was the norm of the early Church and should be for us as well today. Worship and study with us.
