Center Point Assembly

Sunday, October 22, 2023 – Fall is in full swing, and we are thankful for all those who choose to stay with us up here in “God’s country,” even when the leaves fall. Amen? Today, we are watching a special “Tipping Point” video by Jimmy Evans and Michelle Bachman, former Minnesota Congresswoman, discussing the truth about what’s happening with Hamas in Gaza. I know it’s not traditional to present videos like this and not preach on Sunday morning, but we are not in conventional times. We need to deliver critical information in times such as this. At the end of this message, we are also presenting a great website to give us all a simple yet powerful way to contact our Senators and Congress, both State and National, on all issues we face. Our government leaders are charged to represent us, the people who have elected them. But how do they know what we want them to do? Sending letters, phone calls, and emails are the principal ways we communicate. This “Act for America” website makes all these communication methods simple and easy for us. Please open the attachment and go to www.actforamerica.org and register yourself to become an advocate and take action to make your Christian voice known. This is our responsibility and our charge. Get involved and be blessed as you do. Be encouraged; our redemption draws nigh, but we work until Jesus comes.

Sunday, October 15, 2023 – Today, we are watching a timely video from Dr. Mark Hitchcock that details the events happening in the War in Israel with Hamas and the regional players in the Middle East that have prophetic implications. We must understand the big picture of the ongoing conflict between the Jewish Nation of Israel and the Palestinian Nations surrounding Israel. This is a spiritual war on the very existence of Israel, not a battle for land. As Dr. Hitchcock points out, the war is not about the amount of land Israel occupies; it's the very point that Israel even exists. This goes back to the "Seed War" that began in the Garden of Eden as God declared that the woman's seed would crush the seed of Satan. This is why we need to pray for the peace of Israel and for their protection against the evil of Satan's ongoing attempts to wipe out the Jewish race. Worship and study with us…

Sunday, October 1, 2023 – Pastor Leland Hart gives today’s message, and it’s titled, “Jesus Makes the Difference.” We spend a lot of our time trying to improve our situation in life, and that’s not bad as long as we don’t end up leaving Jesus out of the equation. Pastor Leland gives us three attributes of how Jesus makes the difference because, in Jesus, we have power, healing, and life. Power to change the things we can’t change on our own. Healing in all aspects of our life that are beyond what doctors and medicine can touch. Life when all else screams death. Worship and study with us.

Sunday, September 24, 2023 – Today’s message is “Three Godly Judgments.” I know judgment isn’t one of our favorite topics, but I assure you this is a message we all need to hear and pay attention to. These judgments are unavoidable and without negotiation. Every person who ever lived is going to face these judgments without exception. So, a wise person will sit up and pay attention. The first and most crucial judgment everyone will face is binary – will one spend eternity in Heaven or Hell? That’s the first judgment one faces immediately after they die. Instantly, one is taken either to Heaven or Hell, and that is based 100% on whether the person believed in and accepted Jesus Christ as the Savior and then made Him their Lord, meaning they lived a life sold out to Him according to His instructions as given in God’s Holy Word. This first judgment determines if the person will then stand before the BEMA Seat judgment or the White Throne Judgment. These are two separate and distinct judgments for people depending on whether they are true Christians or unbelieving non-Christians. There is too much to describe here, so if this interests you, please take the time to worship and study with us…
