Center Point Assembly

Freedom is every person's dream, without exception. I truly can't think of a person that would choose bondage over freedom in any situation. Yet why is it that many if not most of us walk around in a state of bondage? And quite possibly we may not even realize we are bound until we observe another person experiencing freedom in the area that we struggle in. As we continue to examine the way Jesus taught us to pray, we find the clue that gives us true freedom - It comes thru forgiveness. First being forgiven and then forgiving others. Listen and find out why this is so important and possibly so hard to do... One more thing, if it's hard to do, then realize that it's worth it...

This message is continuing in our desire to learn more how to pray as Jesus taught his disciples. Today we are focusing what Jesus meant when He prayed and asked God for His daily bread. Sounds like a simple basic request that we would ask and be thankful for our daily food. Certainly, that's a part of it, that we should be thankful for the daily blessings that God gives us, but we're going to find there's much more than food that we need daily. We need to have spiritual sustenance and provision and that helps us grow in the knowledge of the Lord and in his mighty power. LIsten in to grow your appetite for all that God has for us...

As we begin 2018 we are continuing to talk about Praying as Jesus taught us to pray as given in the Lord's Prayer. This week we are focusing on what it means to pray "Thy Kingdom Come and Thy Will be Done in earth as it is in Heaven". It's so interesting when we see that this prayer encompasses all aspects of our lives. Today we learn how personal it is to pray that God's KIngdom come into our personal lives and His Will be done "in" us so that we can be God's influence in our world to overcome the influence of Satan. Listen in to hear more about what this means and then truly ask God to help you live out this prayer on a daily basis...

The season of passing from on one year to the next is always a good opportunity to examine one's heart and purposely desire to make the new year better than the last year. We are interrupting our study on prayer to purposely examine Paul's teaching to the Philippians on what it means to forget the past and to strive and press forward to the future as he purposed in his life to make Heaven his goal. There is much for us today as we study this and ask the Lord to help us forget, forgive and press ahead. Listen in and be encouraged...
