Forgiveness is a quality of God's nature (Exodus 34:6-7), and it is to be imitated by His people (Matthew 6:12, 14-15). Forgiving someone who wrongs you is obviously easier said than done, nevertheless we cannot use the difficulty of forgiveness as an excuse to disobey this clear command from the Lord.
