THIS SUNDAY we continue to discover our Why so we can embrace our what with clarity, precision, and passion to fulfill Gods purpose in our life. We first examined why we exist. We are created by our Creator, redeemer, and sustainer. Our life exists because of Him. We are to BELIEVE. Secondly, we explored how God re-created us to be apart of His family- we were born for community- we BELONG. Then we examined a third purpose in light of the Why. We are created to be ministers.  We SERVE. Last Sunday we discovered that we are created to be Christlike. We BECOME.  We explored the significance of becoming fully functioning faithful fruitful fishing followers of Jesus to the glory of God. God accepts us like we are but we aren't to stay there. His grace not only saves us, it transforms us by being empowered by the Spirit! THIS SUNDAY we discover that we are created to be His ambassadors in our world as ministers of reconciliation! We are to be His witnesses!  Join your church family this week as we continue to grow in Jesus and ask the questions why and what.  Please be warned.  Don't try to answer the questions How? When? and Where? before asking the question Why? and What?  Those answers without the answers of Why and What lead to a very wasted life and a life of disarray and confusion without the foundation of Biblical truth.  The truth will set you free!!!

THIS SUNDAY we will continue our series on Why?  I hope you are being encouraged in your daily devotional as we continue to discover together "What On Earth Am I here for?"  This coming week we discover and explore the importance of Biblical community.  Why did God create the church?  What is the purpose of the church?   God didn't create us to go through life alone.  His purpose is much deeper as He calls us into fellowship with God's family as His children.  He didn't create us to be lone rangers.  Christianity is immensely personal, but it is never meant to be private.  God calls us to community!  Hope you will join your community of faith this week.

The clarity helps with all the other questions: who? what? where? when? and how?  This Sunday we begin our 40 day journey of exploring and discovering the why of life.  Why am I here? What is the meaning of life? Journey with your church family the next eight weeks.  Be present and bring someone with you each Sunday to grow with you.  Join and participate in a Life Group as you share life together in examining such an essential question about life and purpose.  Pick up the book this Sunday, "What on earth am I here for?" and read the devotions as we journey along.  I've never been more excited about the messages God has given me that will give you a foundation to reach your full potential in life and make an impact on those around you for the glory of God as He continues to revitalize a new church in the heart of the inner city to reach those far from God.  Why, Why?  Because the answer will transform your life.

Did you know there was a law of the harvest?  You reap what you sow.  Let's explore what this can mean in 2017!  No doubt about it, you will reap what you sow in 2017.  Its the law of the harvest.  Come find out what God's Word says about the principles of harvest.  Invite a friend. They will have a better and blessed 2017 by learning the law of the harvest.

The New Year is a great time to establish good Biblical and Spiritual disciplines. You are encouraged to develop the Sunday morning commitment to worship Jesus and to celebrate His resurrection on His day. Corporate worship glorifies God, strengthens the follower, and witnesses to the community that Jesus is alive!

Be sure to start the New Year off with your personal relationship with Christ being THE priority.  Spirit based and biblical based resolutions can be helpful.  Commit a time to pray and study His word daily.  Be sure to start off each week with corporate worship.  THIS week we will explore how we can encourage one another in the faith in 2017.  Be sure to invite family and friends.  Eighty three percent of those in church today came from a personal invitation of friend or family.  Your invitation could be a life changer!
