This Sunday, we’re planning to move into the last mini-series in our year of exploring the importance of relationships. To round it out, we will discuss how God seeks a relationship with us. This Sunday, we will explore the way that He seeks this relationship through His word. Isaiah 55 paints an amazing picture of how God uses His word to draw us closer to Him, share the truth with us, and infuse our lives with new life and new meaning.

As we continue to explore relationship models in Scripture, we turn to Daniel. Daniel’s steadfast faith in the midst of cultural and political pressure is an example for us to follow. Like Daniel, we will grow in our relationship with God as we allow our faith to be tested and remain faithful to God without compromise in today’s society.

Relationships can be complicated. Many of us have probably experienced what it’s like to see a loved one go down a bad path. We can see the dangers around them, but it seems like they’re blind to it. What are we to do? The story of Abraham and his nephew Lot offers some incredible principles for navigating these situations. Join us on Sunday as we plan to look at this example and see the incredible power of hope in our relationships.

Zacchaeus is a model of a sincere heart in search of Jesus. Zacchaeus’ story teaches us valuable lessons that will help us grow in our relationship with Jesus.

Relationships are filled with “landmines” – potentially explosive situations and issues that are hard to deal with without stepping on them. Philemon was a Christian living in Colossae. Onesimus was his slave who had run away, possibly stealing from his master as he left. Somehow, Onesimus had encountered the Apostle Paul, and became a Christian. Paul gives us an important demonstration of reconciliation in the letter he write to Philemon as he sent Onesimus back to his master.

Arguably the most well-known of Jesus’ parables, the parable of the Good Samaritan is packed with a great deal of wisdom on how we live in relationship with others. This Sunday, we will focus on the most important question to ask ourselves as we seek to obey Jesus’ command to “go and do likewise.

Forgiveness is a challenging topic for many reasons, but despite this, it remains a critical part of any healthy relationship. This Sunday, we plan to dive into the heart of forgiveness. We will talk about what forgiveness is according to the Bible, and how forgiveness can benefit our relationships today.

The parable of the lost sheep teaches us about Jesus’ heart of compassion for the lost. When we share Jesus’ love for the world, we will see people as valuable souls that need to be reconciled to God!
