Calix is a company looking to create a new Kiln process that makes cement manufacturers far more environmentally friendly cutting CO2 emissions drastically. And its not just cement but a swathe of other applications, including advanced battery materials. As the company says, "Mars is for quitters".
Dr Phil Hodgson joined Calix as CEO in 2013, was appointed a Director in 2014, and is a member of Calix’s Technology Committee.
Phil has a technical and commercial background from a successful career with Shell, where for over 14 years he developed significant depth of experience across all key sectors of the downstream oil industry including refining and supply, marketing and sales, pricing strategy, risk management, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions.
Phil holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering with Honours (University of Sydney) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering (University of NSW)
