Today we're by joined by Michael Hughes, Founder of Gymnazo - a gym in San Luis Obispo, CA specializing in performance, restoration, and small group training.
A son of an entrepreneur, Michael understands the power of grit, ambition and vision when creating and sustaining a business. However, he also quickly realized that scaling a business couldn't correlate to scaling his time, and he had to develop avenues for growth that didn't require constant exhaustion.
In this episode, we sit down with Michael and discuss the future of the fitness industry, what he's learned along his journey to success, and how new trainers can set themselves up for a sustainable, fulfilling career.

It is very common for new trainers entering the fitness industry to get lost in mess of competing certifications and deciding on which one provides the best education.
Trainers typically choose the one that friend or colleague recommended as a top option and find out the support during and after the education process is non-existent.
This leads to frustrated new trainers and a 35% failure rate on the chosen certification exam and an almost 90% failure rate after only two years post certification.
What most certification bodies don't want trainers thinking of is "What is the ROI (return on investment) for this certification?".
Here at Fitness Mentors ROI is our primary concern for our students leading to us developing the best overall experience in student support, post certification mentorship and overall student success.
Let us show you what ROI looks like by watching this webinar, "The 2022 Business Plan for Personal Trainers".
