Jesus doesn’t just want to heal your body and make you feel or look better. He wants to make you whole from the inside out.

Reflection Point

If God didn’t give it to you, don’t accept it!

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

Reflection

The same Holy Spirit and power that was at work in Jesus is still at work today in anyone who believes. If there is any pain or sickness in your body, know that Jesus is willing to heal you the same way he was willing to heal the man with leprosy in Matthew 8:2–3. Jesus is saying to you today just as he said to him: “I am willing; be cleansed.”

Reflection

God cares about you—all of you: spirit, soul and body, from the crown of your head to the soles of your feet.

Matthew 10:30 (NKJV) tells us that “the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

If God cares enough to know and number every strand of hair on your head, you can be confident that He cares about the health and wellbeing of your entire body.

Reflection

Jesus calls healing “the children’s bread.” So, come to the table with faith and confidence, and feast on what your Heavenly Father has freely provided for you.

Do you know God only as the One who can heal or as The LORD who heals you?

Reflection

As you journey through life, you’ll face opportunities to compromise God’s standards in order to fit in, gain approval, or avoid criticism. Like Nehemiah, choose faithfulness over compromise. Remember, people’s approval is temporary, but God’s approval is eternal.

Shouldn’t the one who cleans the outside also be concerned with cleaning the inside? You need to have more than clean dishes; you need clean hearts!

Reflection

Nehemiah understood that rebuilding Jerusalem’s walls without restoring the people’s hearts would have left the work incomplete. Like Nehemiah, don’t focus only on rebuilding the outward areas of your life, allow the Holy Spirit to restore and transform your heart also.

Reflection

Nehemiah didn’t only build the walls of Jerusalem, he built people who could handle responsibility. Ask yourself: Who am I intentionally building and investing in to the glory of God?
