Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ says

“How much better to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.”

If Solomon, often tagged as the wisest and wealthiest man that ever lived is telling us that wisdom is more valuable than material wealth, and his advice to us is to desire wisdom above material things, then there is something that he knows that we need to learn!

John‬ ‭20‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance.”

Mary Magdalene was an amazing woman who made a huge impact in the life of Jesus Christ and his ministry.

So what lessons can we learn from this great woman of faith?

Anna was a widow who was married for only 7years before her husband died and even though she was still very young when her husband died, she never remarried. Instead she remained a widow till she was 84years and she focused her complete attention on worshiping God with prayer and fasting! What lessons can we learn from this great woman of faith?

In Luke‬ ‭21‬:‭1‬-‭4, the bible tells the story of a poor widow who gave only two copper coins as a gift to God but Jesus said this widow gave more than all the rich people that gave offerings to God that day!

Why did Jesus say this and what lessons can we learn about giving from this poor widow?

Naomi was a great woman of faith who continued to trust God in the face of adversity and tragedy. What lessons can we learn from her?

“One day the girl said to her mistress, “I wish my master would go to see the prophet in Samaria. He would heal him of his leprosy.””

This little servant girl shared her faith with boldness and transformed Naaman’s life completely. So what lessons can we learn from her?

““In the days of Shamgar son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were abandoned; travelers took to winding paths. Villagers in Israel would not fight; they held back until I, Deborah, arose, until I arose, a mother in Israel.”

What makes Deborah spectacular and what lessons can we learn from her life?

Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“And He said to her, “What do you wish?” She said to Him, “Grant that these two sons of mine may sit, one on Your right hand and the other on the left, in Your kingdom.””

Timothy was Paul’s protege and at the time Paul met him, he was still young and probably still a teenager. Yet Timothy was well known and highly respected among the believers. What could have produced this kind of faith in Timothy?
