Not all BeerTubers make beer reviews, case in point:  @LifeIsBrewtiful . Anthony has been making mini documentaries about beer history and niche styles for several years. He doesn't consider himself a historian, but he's certainly an educator of some sort. Anthony's also active duty military and has lived in various states and countries for the last 14 years. All this travel has given him the opportunity to try local beers and styles so niche you've probably never heard of them (e.g. Zoigl bier). We discuss all that, plus homebrewing, favorite beer styles and swap war stories in this podcast.

You wouldn't know it by his YouTube channel  @mikevsbeer , but Mike Hartmann is actually one of the biggest Beer Influencers out there! He has literally 100,000 times more followers on TikTok than he does on YouTube. What's really interesting is the fact he's fairly new on the scene having started in 2021. Mike recently posted a blind tasting video that got over 2 MILLION views as of this podcast (wow!). This was a really fun discussion that probably could've went on even longer as Mike and I talked his history with beer, homebrewing, his TikTok fame, and lots more. This week's podcast is actually two old podcasts I did with Jay's Beer Review (aka  @jjrudy41 ) back in the early days of this channel. If you've been watching me (or BeerTube in general) since 2009, you might remember Jay. When I first got into craft beer, he was a much more seasoned drinker and knew more about beer than me. He was also one of the first guest reviewers I ever had on this show. It was after doing that review of St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout with me that Jay felt comfortable starting his own show. The two of us did a lot of collabs over the years. I follow the news of the beer industry fairly closely (well, probably closer than most beer geeks do). I've been reading content by today's guest - Kate Bernot - for a while (Washington Post, Good Beer Hunting, Imbibe Magazine, etc). I recently joined the North American Guild of Beer Writers and realized she was the director. Also like me, Darwin is originally from New York State (Long Island) and moved to Florida around the same time I did. In fact, at one point we lived just a few miles from each other and would get together regularly for beer reviews.

 @TheMasterOfHoppets  is one of the longest-tenured creators in the BeerTube community. He started about a year after I did (late 2009, to be exact). Peter is one of the few BeerTubers in a non-English speaking country (Denmark) to conduct all his videos on English. He and I have collab'ed on quite a few beer reviews over the years and we actually met in person in early 2012 for a beer review in a parking garage (yes, really!).

Though we chat occasionally on social media, this was our first long form conversation in many years. We also shot an episode of Tuesday Night Beer School.

If you follow the UK BeerTuber scene no doubt you've probably seen a few videos by "The Crumby Beard". Tom's been producing content for about two years. He started out making videos about food but moved on to beer and whiskey reviews. IMHO, The Crumby Beard is making some of the best thumbnails in the game and his cinematography and editing techniques are impressive as well. Oh and he seems to know what he's talking about when it comes to dissecting beer and whiskey.
