Champions...of Digression!

It's the 300th episode of Titan Up the Defense! Hooray! As the traditional gift for a 300th anniversary is self indulgence, we celebrate by breaking format and talking about a quartet of Titans TV shows. Also, we drank a little too much, but that's hardly a break from our usual format. Thanks for all of your support over the years! Enjoy! Enjoy!

Topics of discussion include: Professor Power is a jerk, sports team affiliation reveal parties, Killa Beez/Killer Bees disambiguation, and a disappointing amount of bathroom talk. Sorry.

For Love! Cory is off dimension hopping again, so the brilliant Sara Century joins Hub to help him try to make sense of the 1984 Iceman miniseries. They talk about: psychedelic rugs, unsettling animation, terrible parents, queer subtext in Bronze Age comics, and what makes Bobby Drake such an interesting character. Enjoy! Enjoy!

Out with the old, in with the New Defenders! We read New Defenders #126, featuring the team's first full outing. Topics include: the joys of fresh produce, Nick Fury being bad at his job, Gargoyle's metal voice, and some timely Sling Blade/BlackBerry humor. Enjoy! Enjoy!

Schools in session as we read New Titans #65! Dick teaches Tim Drake a lesson about assumptions, and this issue teaches us a lesson about managing our expectations. We also learn about: Olympic sports, the sneakiest Pete, Colin Quinn's Robin cosplay, and pterodactyls being nasty freaks. Enjoy! Enjoy!
