This week I am getting a little personal - I am talking with my dad and brother about Black fatherhood and marriage.
Sit down with me and my favorite guys as we talk about parenting, knowing when you found the right person, gender roles, spanking your kids, what their expectations are for my future man, advice for future parents, teaching vulnerability and faith to your kids, and parenting adult children .
P.S. who knew my brother was so mature?
How I went from throwing metal napkin holders to protecting my peace. In this episode, I unpack how I went from feeling like I needed to argue when I felt disrespected to learning my worth and restricting people's access to me. I discuss arguing vs. disagreeing conversations, learning effective communication, choosing your language, unpacking your triggers, and building sustainable relationships. The point is don't be a golden brick in a room full of ants.

How did you learn how to cope with life? Join me and my bestie as we go all around the world with this one. We're celebrating my divorce, talking about numbing the pain, getting a refund on adulthood, how to actually make a margarita, learning to say "no" to people, Sha'Carri "that girl" Richardson, loving on Black women, and sooooo much more.

Part of my growth journey and stepping into my power has been acknowledging, owning, and making space for my vulnerability. This week I am discussing how I have learned to see it as a strength in my growth - even when it's hard.
Welcome to Change in the Water! You may remember me from my YouTube channel, Freedom to Love Yourself (FLY) in 2020. Now I'm back with more content, why I decided to switch to podcasting, and an explanation of where I've been for the past year. It has been a crazy year for me and I have a story to tell
