The Bake Down - Bake Off Reviewed

Change Patisserie Plans At Your Peril

Listen Later

We had all sorts of mess, plenty of perfection and ultimately one baker who we thought would excel at patisserie heading home at the penultimate hurdle as we saw our final four made Savarin, Cornucopia and a Cube Cake. We digest a week of mixed fortunes as two bakers excelled towards the final which seems hard to call.

Whilst we are sad the series is coming to an end, we’re going to be celebrating with a special online event on Saturday 28th November 2020 and we hope you'll join us.

Firstly, Dan Beasley Harling will be leading a free webinar teaching you how to make the perfect scone, so you can bake along with us for around an hour at 7.30pm to give you a little flavour of what a class with us entails and then at 8.45pm, Dan will be joined by Howard and Jane where we’ll all reflect on the 2020 Series of Bake Off and we'll take your questions. You do have to register if you want to attend that but it's absolutely free - click here to sign up if you’d like to attend.

Josh, Jane, Howard and Dan recorded this podcast remotely via Zoom. We'd like your questions and comments to keep us going. Hit us up at [email protected] and we'll read out your comments on the upcoming episodes.

We are having great fun hosting online baking classes for fans from all around the world and more classes have gone up on sale every week. Whether you'd like to learn how to make a Gingerbread Cheescake with Howard or a Buche De Noel with Dan, you can check out our latest online baking classes on our website. Classes tend to start at 5pm or 8pm UK time on Saturday and Sunday to accommodate bakers from around the world, in particular our many friends from the USA. They're great fun and if you use the code PODCAST at checkout you'll get 10% off.

Also, perhaps you're missing your work colleagues or friends and thinking about how you can have a fun activity during these difficult times and a private online event with us is the perfect answer! We're also starting to book in Christmas Parties! Head over to our website learn more about our virtual events.

*** If you enjoyed this podcast please do leave us a review, it'll help ensure more Bake Off fans find us and would be a huge motivation for to keep making these podcasts for you. Please note we're not affiliated to the show itself or Love Productions, but we're huge fans of their work.***
