The snooze button; that extra 9 minutes we all give ourselves to stay in bed every morning. There isn’t much technology in our lives that doesn’t have a snooze button at this point. Sometimes in business and life we need to take a step back and recover for a while, just like we do with vigorous exercise. Just because we have always done something a certain way doesn’t mean that is the only way we can or should do it. Being dedicated to hustling is great as long as you have compassion for yourself and understand why you do what you do, otherwise it’ll just lead to burnout. The key is knowing why you are doing what you are doing and who you are doing it for. When you forget why you do what you do it’s very easy to slip into burnout mode. It’s not the work you put in that matters most, it’s what drives you.
