Dr Horacio Gonzalez Velez is an associate professor and head of the cloud competency centre at the National College of Ireland in Dublin. Dr Horacio directs NCI’s cloud and data analytics infrastructure, postgraduates programmes, and research with a clear focus on innovation. He has also been given the European Commission ICT award for his efforts on scientific dissemination and is the vice-chair of CHIPSET. We speak to him about how Big Data is going to change the way we work, with everything being connected in the future.
