In this episode, I explain my decisions to step away from what I am doing where with Chaos & Coffee. It's not an easy decision and yet it is with how I have structured my life to be happier and more energetic. Today's theme is "I just don't think you get it." An emotional story about letting cherries rot, then about what comes first defending your home or robbery, and finishing with small angry people trying to control everything. I try to bring in understanding to both sides of the story for the cherries, give you something to discuss as a conversation starter in the second story, and get angry in the third. I started off having difficulty finding good headlines, and the I get a little rantish (made up word) talking about how a Miami officer shoots a therapist, Red Box is attempting to go digital, shouldering politics, and have you seen my phone? This is the Friday edition of Chaos & Coffee!

Get your coffee ready and hold on because I go deep into discussion, and get passionate about talking to each other.  My headlines and discussions include the Bastille Day Killer was not an Islamic radical, is the Turkey Coup good or bad?, Baton Rouge needs to change everything you do, and elevating the conversation is the only way to avoid violence. I felt this one and I hope it gives you something to discuss and think about. Remember - without conversation violence is necessary. I start out with commentary on Nice, France, and the tragedy there. Of course, we have to acknowledge this global event - but let's shut down the automatic hate speech and fear mongering. Then I touch on some oddity with Pokemon Go because it is something I have noticed. Then it is on to the stories of the day with a well-written article on how body cams are letting us see truth in unfortunate shootings, also illustrating how to write a thought out journalistic article vs fear mongering. The second headline is Microsoft and how they won against the US government. And finally a Judge is failing to do his job based on "Religious belief" but it's not towards gays. All this, a whole lot of social commentary, and some steaming hot coffee today on the Friday edition of Chaos & Coffee.

I am joined by Producer at Large Mike Woodard for a live edition of Chaos & Coffee recorded at Podcast Movement in Chicago. I start off with a note from the show FOUND - keep listening to see how it integrates into the flow. Then we cover adventures in babysitting, weed gyms, and noahs ark actually landed in Kentucky.
