Today's theme is "I just don't think you get it." An emotional story about letting cherries rot, then about what comes first defending your home or robbery, and finishing with small angry people trying to control everything. I felt this one and I hope it gives you something to discuss and think about. Remember - without conversation violence is necessary. I start out with commentary on Nice, France, and the tragedy there. Of course, we have to acknowledge this global event - but let's shut down the automatic hate speech and fear mongering. Then I touch on some oddity with Pokemon Go because it is something I have noticed. Then it is on to the stories of the day with a well-written article on how body cams are letting us see truth in unfortunate shootings, also illustrating how to write a thought out journalistic article vs fear mongering. The second headline is Microsoft and how they won against the US government. And finally a Judge is failing to do his job based on "Religious belief" but it's not towards gays. All this, a whole lot of social commentary, and some steaming hot coffee today on the Friday edition of Chaos & Coffee.
