On today’s episode of the Strike a Balance Podcast for Working Homeschool Moms, I talk to Christine Suarez. A homeschool mom of two living in Brooklyn, New York, Christine uses her 10+ years of experience in education, psychological development, and homeschooling to empower other parents on her website bloomingbrilliant.net.

We had some technical issues so the first few questions didn’t record. But there’s so much value in the rest of the episode so I had to publish it! I love that Christine speaks about the importance of mindset, which she believes is vital for being a happy and thriving working homeschool mom. She also mentions deschooling as her number one tip when starting out. We all need to deschool through our homeschooling journey so I agree wholeheartedly with her on this point!

On today's episode of the Strike a Balance Podcast for Working Homeschool Moms, I speak to Jodie Perry. Jodie is a wife, homeschooling mom of 6, writer, blogger, podcaster, and accidental entrepreneur. I had great fun speaking to her and she said something that tickled me pink. • How to Schedule Enough Homeschool Time for your Kids to Succeed

On today's episode of the Strike a Balance Podcast for Working Homeschool Moms, I chat about ways to schedule enough homeschool time into your day.

In a recent poll on my Facebook group for working homeschool moms, I discovered that a common struggle is feeling like you don't have enough homeschool time in your day. I know this uncomfortable and worrying feeling because I've definitely felt it. And I'm sure I will feel it again in the future as we go through different seasons.

As I'm quite a few years into the homeschooling journey, I've learnt some ways to overcome this anxiety when it crops up. And you guessed it - the strategies are part mindset and part practical. Because that's just how I roll! 😁 I hope this episode will give you some reassurance and confidence when you feel like you're not doing enough!

          • Jae from Homeschool Yo Kids Speaks Profoundly about the Joy of Homeschooling

On today's episode of the Strike a Balance Podcast for Working Homeschool Moms, I have the great pleasure of speaking to Jae from the Homeschool Yo Kid app. She is currently on her home learning journey with two beautiful young souls leading the way.

After 14 years in public education, Jae has developed a homeschool app that allows families to comfortably begin their home learning journey with confidence. Homeschool Yo Kids is for new and seasoned homeschoolers that seek guidance, inspiration, and a confidence builder through the access to various resources, curriculum, activities, and a community to grow with.

There are so many fantastic takeaways from this episode. I love that Jae says we're all qualified to homeschool our kids and that we have a choice as to how to do it. And the fact that she says we need to admit we're not perfect. In her homeschool she says: "I don't know. Let's look it up". I love this! I'm sure you're going to love this episode as much as I do!
