ONE THING When a problem exists, big or small, go to the Lord through it all. (In any area of life)

Ezra 4:7-11

CONTEXT Whether your problems lead to disappointment or fulfillment is dramatically impacted by who’s way you follow. 

What do people often rely on when they are faced with a problem?

Why do so many people choose other things than Jesus to solve their problems?

   Because they don’t truly realize He is the best option, no competition

How can we please God in how we handle our problems?

   Take your problems to Jesus as a servant of Christ. (Not man)

Gospel-Centered = 

WORSHIP Give Jesus your problems to handle. It is the best way to find the best solution.

COMMUNITY Seek the approval of God in how you handle it all. Not only do the answers come from God but we all answer to God.

SERVICE Help others to see Jesus is the hope they need. The best way to solve a problem is to follow Jesus through it.

MULTIPLICATION Pray over and serve Christ in the midst of any problem. Show others the way of Jesus by the way you live.

ONE THING purpose Adversity is a great opportunity to trust Jesus.

Ezra 4:4-6

CONTEXT  build We trust Jesus, in adversity, by gladly submitting to Him our heart, mind, soul and strength.

How do you build up others in Christ in the midst of adversity?

   You face it together at the foot of Christ’s throne. 

How can we make it easier for people to get to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit?

   Speak the Biblical truth and grow up to be like Jesus Christ.

WORSHIP Keep focused on the enthroned Christ. When you remember Jesus is on the throne you won’t easily be thrown around.

COMMUNITY Adversity can be a rocket ship to Jesus. Use hardship to help others see Christ’s Lordship is supreme.

SERVICE Build your Christlike maturity and invite others along for the journey. Help others to see that God’s best is better than all the rest.

MULTIPLICATION Trust in Jesus to get us through. The way through is always gladly submitting to Jesus.

ONE THING God wants you to know if they are His friend or foe.

John 15:15  No longer do I call you servants, for the servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all that I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.

CONTEXT A friend of God is a Christian who is a part of the family of God.

REMEMBER: John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you. 

SALVATION: There is only one true God and His Son is the Messiah Jesus Christ, who alone can save you from sin by grace through faith in Him. He is the way to become a part of the family of God.

How can we tell if some is an adversary of God?

   They don’t help to draw people closer to God or to accomplish His will.

How can we tell if someone is a part of the family of God?

   Jesus is their Lord and Savior as they seek to fulfill God’s will on earth as it is in Heaven.

KNOW IF SOMEONE IS A FRIEND OR FOE OF GOD IS AN IMPORTANT ASPECT TO WHY WE EXIST.

WORSHIP Know God well. Listen, Discern, Learn and apply what you discover from your prayer and Bible time.

COMMUNITY Discover how others relate to God. Ask God to show you if they are for or against Him.

SERVICE Remember God loved you first and we should love Him first. One of the best things you can do for others in all areas of your life is to put God first.

MULTIPLICATION Continue to bring God glory and make disciples. No matter who you meet the goal is to continue to fulfill God’s will. 

ONE THING Jesus was risen to prove we can be forgiven of our sins.

  For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 1 Cor. 15:22

Luke 24:1-12

CONTEXT Tell others what Jesus has done so they will for themselves come and see what Jesus can do and head home marveling at what Jesus has done.

Where do people look in order to help them feel alive? Why?

Why does it embolden a Christian’s faith to know the truth that the tomb is empty?

   It gives us courage to live for Christ because our sins are forgiven.

   We know we will live with Christ forever in Heaven so we can live for Jesus now.

WORSHIP Remember Jesus is alive and well seated at the right hand of God. Reflect often on the spiritual fuel that Jesus is risen so we can all be forgiven.

COMMUNITY Tell those you know about the empty tomb. Share the biblical truth in brotherly love that Jesus is not there but He is risen.

SERVICE Tell others about your encounters with Jesus. Like the women at the empty tomb testify to what you have seen and heard.

MULTIPLICATION Invite others to come and see for themselves what Jesus can do. So that they will head home marveling at what Christ has done.

ONE THING Jesus Christ is the King we all need!

CONTEXT Glad submission to Jesus is a great start and strengthener of that relationship.

What are important components to praising Jesus as King?

   Salvation and specific sayings from the heart that fulfill God’s will.

What are some ways we can show glad submission to Jesus Christ the King?

   Be Born-Again and strive to be like Christ in our faith and deeds.

SERVICE Make a big deal about people having peace through the forgiveness of sin. Remember the peace of God flows through a relationship that is at peace with Jesus.

MULTIPLICATION Make a big deal about the one true King, Jesus Christ. Encourage others to join us as we lay down our lives and resources in glad submission to Him.

ONE THING: Like Christ, we ought to wash one another’s feet.

CONTEXT: Christ shows us how to love those in the world and love them to the end. 

Why is it so very important for Jesus to wash you clean?

   Saved from sin, protect from the devil and evil schemes, armor of God effect

What has Jesus done for us?

  Given us the example of Servant Humility with the greatest message ever way to live out love for God and others.

WORSHIP Be cleansed by Christ. Have your sins forgiven by the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. 

COMMUNITY Go where others are that need Jesus. Everyone is someone Jesus can or has saved.   

SERVICE We must wash feet. We must be serving messengers of Jesus Christ daily.

MULTIPLICATION We must show Christ’s love for others through the humility of serving. It prepares a heart to be blessed by God.

CONTEXT: Day by day devote yourself to being biblically generous.

  Biblical generosity makes a way for God’s best to take place in a practical way. 

How can Christians be generous among each other?

   By helping each other worship and be devoted to God together.

How can Christians be generous toward the community?

   By living biblically open-handed with your time, talents and treasures. So others are saved and mature as disciples.

GENEROSITY IS AN IMPORTANT ASPECT TO WHY WE EXIST.

WORSHIP Plan copious Christian calendar time. Spend more time with God and other Christians to become Christlike. 

COMMUNITY Use your treasures to point to your greatest treasure. Open-handedly publicly and purposedly praise God. 

SERVICE Sacrifice so others will know God. Meet a need the way the Holy Spirit tells you.

MULTIPLICATION Daily put all you are and have in glad submission to Christ. Don’t hold anything back when it comes to fulfilling God’s will.

ONE THING: It’s easier to bring God glory when you remember God’s glory. 

To bring God glory means to give Him praise and credit through faith and deeds. 

Psalm 145

CONTEXT: Follow the Holy Spirit’s leading in the who, what, when, where, why and how of bringing God glory each day. 

Before we publicly bring God glory we must first do what?

   Privately give Him praise and credit. 

Why is it so important to intentionally bring God glory in the presence of others?

   So that they to may become a part of the Kingdom of God.

WORSHIP Bring glory to God. During your personal devotions give God praise and credit.

SERVICE Give Kingdom clarity as you bring God glory. Help others to understand if they’re giving God or something else glory.

ONE THING: Love Your Neighbor as Yourself

Mark 12:31

CONTEXT: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our life for our neighbors, daily, in deed and truth.

The standard is to lay down our lives for our neighbor.

How can we love our neighbor in a way that pleases God?

   By loving them with faithful to God deeds and in biblical truth.

So all stuff you have and all the stuff that makes you, you, should be used in what way?

      Obvious and thoughtful treasures made available to show your love for God and neighbor. 

We exist to bring God glory and make disciples. 

LOVING YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF IS A MUST TO WHY WE EXIST.

Gospel-Centered = 

WORSHIP Pray to be more loving. Ask God to transform you to love with devotion and dedication in a God honoring way.

COMMUNITY Do unto others that which you would have them do unto you. Each day find a way to love others the Jesus way. 

SERVICE Make a way for your neighbor’s needs. Use your time, talents and treasures to love others and draw them closer to God.

MULTIPLICATION Love your neighbor in deed and truth. Live each day as an opportunity to love someone in a Christlike way.
