The Head coaching job for UNC Field Hockey, a huge honor with big shoes to fill. At 23 years old in her first year as a head coach, Erin Matson led her team to not only to a winning season, not only to the playoffs, not only to a championship, but a double overtime championship victory to secure her 5th championship in 5 years. Ohio State beat Rutgers 35-16 this past weekend in a game where the scoreboard definitely did not tell the whole story. OSU struggled early, going into half down 9-7 even though Rutgers did not accumulate a single pass yard... yes that is correct.
