Multiple charities have cut ties with the Duchess of York, following the emergence an email she sent to the convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein, in which she called him her "supreme friend". A spokesperson for the duchess said her email to Epstein had been sent because she was trying to counter a threat from him to sue her for defamation - and that she still regretted any association with him.
