Each week we chat with RNIB’s CEO Matt Stringer to discuss the big news affecting the charity.

Matt started this week update by talking about the final days of the RNIB move into our new Grimaldi building in central London. Matt then gave credit to the RNIB Team in Wales on the recent successful campaigning work around the Standard for Accessible Communication and Information within Health Care and noting the forth coming #MakeItAccessible campaign which will be launching around late spring early summer. Matt ended this week’s update with news that half of RNIB’s staff have completed the new Seeing Differently Programme since it’s launch six months ago ensuring all staff have training around visual awareness and fully understand from the visually impaired programme trainers what life is like for blind and partially sighted people.
