Near Salmon Arm, nearly two weeks into Mounties searching a farm on Salmon River Road where human remains were found, RCMP have confirmed the remains do belong to 18 year-old Traci Genereaux. The teenager was last heard from in late May. The 24 acre property has been the site of an extensive search following five women who have gone missing in the area over the last 20 months. Family members of the women say police have asked for DNA samples.

8 people died yesterday after a truck ran into cyclists along a busy walkway in New York City - in what authorities are calling an “act of terror.” The latest news coming out of this investigation is that Saipov previously rented a truck to practice the attack...which he had been planning for two months.

Parched concerned Edmonton residents have been saved! Yesterday was Day 1 of the new security protocol at Edmonton City Hall which included metal detectors before going into council chambers...and the fact that the public were banned from bringing water in chambers! Under the old system, there was a ban on bringing in food, it just was never enforced. After discussion, it was decided that as long as people are being reasonable, they’ll allow food as well.

One Florida couple got an extra little treat for Halloween yesterday. Their baby was born - four days late - at Winter Park Memorial Hospital just before 3pm. The best part of this story? Their last name is Frankenstein, and their baby is now Oskar Gray Frankenstein.
