Yesterday in BC a story broke about a Cloverdale pastor and his wife, who are facing charges of sexual assault, touching and threats over a two year period.

Today, CKNW reporter Jeremy Lye spoke to the pastor Samuel Emerson’s father Randy - about the allegations against his son and his son’s wife Madelaine.

A huge story that has come out of BC in the past couple weeks concerns allegations of money laundering in BC casinos. This morning, CKNW’s Jon McComb spoke to a casino employee who says this happens on a daily basis, and not enough is being done to stop it.

Today, Donald Trump finally visited Puerto Rico, weeks after Hurricane Maria left thousands without power, clean drinking water, and food. But he’s being criticized for his comments, as he told the devastated country that they have “thrown our budget a little out of whack.”

One of those criticizing the President is a Canadian who was in Puerto Rico during the Hurricane for his father’s funeral. He spoke to Jeremy Lye about the deviation, and the response from Trump.
