As technology changes and advances, nearly a third of Canadians fear tech is outpacing our ability to keep up, threatening not only the job market, but also our privacy. An IPSOS poll for Global News showed that fewer than a quarter of Canadians are strong believers in technology, feeling it will lead to more and better jobs.

An Ohio father, clad in a clown mask, scared his daughter so substantially that she ran into a neighbour’s apartment for safety. 

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and British Prime Minister Theresa May said their two countries are working towards a new bilateral free trade deal to take effect after the United Kingdom leaves the European Union. If you hate clowns, you might have wanted to avoid the Trout Lake area of Metro Vancouver today. In what may be one of the most “Vancouver” stories in the last while, the parks board here has proposed a balloon ban in city parks, citing a risk to wildlife. So, today a group of clowns protested the ban, saying something like this might harm their livelihood.
