The Supreme Court is allowing the Trump administration to maintain its policy on refugees. Today the justices  agreed to an administration request to block a lower court ruling that would have changed the refugee ban to allow  up to 24,000 refugees to enter the country before the end of October. Ed Murray has announced his resignation as mayor of Seattle after a fifth man came forward and accused him of sexual abuse (committed decades ago). Albertans are debating whether to keep changing their clocks.  The government estimates that a referendum on a bill about ending the twice-yearly time change would cost millions.

Apple will soon find out if consumers are ready to break the bank for its latest product. The electronic giant is expected to sell its fanciest iPhone yet -- starting at 999-dollars U-S. C-E-O Tim Cook unveiled the dramatically redesigned iPhone at a lavish event at Apple's new headquarters in Cupertino, California.   Charles talks with Andy Baryer Co-host GetConnected Radio on CKNW (Corus) about these new phone.

Sandee Youza wrote a letter to Prime Minister Trudeau letting him know just how much the proposed small business tax changes will hurt her family and their farm.  With their son taking over the farm they are 4th generation farmers on both sides of the family.  Sandee and her husband explain why these changes in interest of “tax fairness” will put their farm in jeopardy.

The family of an Edmonton man who died from a fentanyl overdose is speaking out about his death in an “effort to spur more action.” Charles shares their story.

But, if you want it, rumour is you’ll have to pay around $1000 for the phone! The former President of Mexico, Vicente Fox, is (very vocally) not one of Donald Trump’s biggest fans.  He dislikes the US president so much so, that he’s actually thrown his hat into the ring and announced his candidacy for the President of the United States….kind of.And for those who hate clowns this movie is a nightmare. But for actual clowns - it might be worse! Professional clowns say this movie could ruin their careers because people are now so scared of them.
