Welcome back to chasing chickens where we are keeping wellness weird and connecting over how crappy chronic illness is.

Today I will share my story of my illness, because this is the base of this podcast. How I got sick, how my life was destroyed and has changed, and all the lessons I have learned.

My editor read my story but didn't know if it was real or fiction and said “If it did happen in real life, that is shameful on their [the doctor's] part and incredibly unprofessional. If it did not, then it is a bit too rash to be believable; why would professional doctors and nurses act like this?”.... well it happened and here is my story.
