This is NOT a normal episode of the Chasing Freedom Show! Today my husband Derick is taking over the mic to talk about how to serve your wife and be a better husband!
He talks about not taking our cues from society, using Jesus as the standard, and trying to run up the score, not keep score when it comes to serving one another in marriage. I can't wait for you to hear what he has to say, so hit that play button!
Consider this week's episode the official 38-week bump-date! I'm coming to you straight from the rocking chair in Bug's nursery. There's a lot of anticipation and feelings stirring in my soul as we get ready for the birth of our son. I'm sharing the mental and physical aspects of carrying this sweet boy, as well as the emotional and spiritual things I've been walking through.
P.S. Make sure you subscribe to the show because next week my husband Derick will have the mic completely to himself! He's going to share 5 ways to be a better husband and serve your wife. I think it'll be a fun perspective for you all to hear!
This week on the Chasing Freedom Show I had the privilege of talking with Meredith Boggs about all things social media. She is a nurse by night and a writer, speaker, and blogger by day. She also has a podcast called "The Other Half" and her vision is to passionately expose the other side of life that doesn't always make the social media highlight reel.
Listen in to this real and relatable conversation on the highs and lows of sharing life in the digital world, which might lead you to some deeper questions. The biggest thing I took away from our conversation was… What is social media doing to me and my heart? It's definitely something to think about!

On today's episode of the Chasing Freedom show, we get to hear from Rashawn Copeland. His story is one of God's divine intervention, and it echoes the truth that no one is "too broken" for God. Rashawn is a writer, podcast host, author, and business owner. He is building the kingdom of God in so many ways, and his story is evidence of how God meets us in our mess.
We talk about how you might feel like you're too broken to be fixed, but sister I promise God is near and your pain is not too heavy for Him to bear. Rashawn said it best, "He comes for the unlikely, so He can do the unimaginable in our lives."
P.S. I also talk about my new Incredible Captions Training in this episode. I want to share with you a formula for writing incredible captions that will bring more engagement, more eyes, and build your brand. It's on October 5th from 5 pm - 6 pm EST, and it's FREE so I'd love to see you there.

In today's episode of the Chasing Freedom show, I provide some practical tips for making health easier for you. My food freedom journey has been years in the making with many ups and downs but I know God is using it for good!
I think so many of us feel like we're on the road to nowhere when it comes to our health. Maybe you don't enjoy exercising or you can't get into a routine, and it all just feels too hard. Sister, I hear you.
That's why I take twenty-five minutes to talk about my own journey and give practical tips on what it looks like to honor God with your health. Spoiler alert… they aren't difficult things, but you have to be willing to wipe the slate clean.
I talk about how everyone's health journey is different. Everyone has a different story, and everyone has different bodies and beliefs. I don't give you the perfect meal plan or best eating habits but I do talk about how you can start to transform your routine with a few simple steps.
I know that health in the way God designed it is a beautiful thing, and I want you to experience that freedom too!
P.S. I also talk about my new Incredible Captions Training in this episode. I want to share with you a formula for writing incredible captions that will bring more engagement, more eyes, and build your brand. It's on October 5th from 12 pm - 1 pm, and it's FREE so I'd love to see you there.

Today's episode of the Chasing Freedom show is an honest and raw conversation about mental health with Kayla Stoecklein. We chat about the incredibly difficult season she's walking through after losing her husband, but also how she's found purpose in the pain.
I think so many of us don't know how to approach mental health. It isn't something we can see like a broken arm, and know how to fix it but it's still there.
There isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to mental health either, sometimes medication works and other times it doesn't. Kayla shares with me that the key is learning how to love and empathize regardless.
We talk about the difficulty of being a caretaker and living alongside someone with mental illness. Kayla shares about grace in the grief and how the healing process looks different for everyone. She is a true light and I'm so thankful for her openness and wisdom on how we can all lean into loving people with mental illness.
Check out Kayla's new book Fear Gone Wild - a book that is truly written for everyone. Whether you're struggling with mental illness or caring for someone with mental illness, she has so much wisdom to share.
