I was sexually active before marriage. I knew that I shouldn't be doing it, but my desire for sex and approval from men was stronger than my desire for God...sound familiar?
Sexual sin is something that has completely broken me, but also something that God has been using to draw me closer to Him, and for that I am grateful. The road of repenting our sins and healing is hard, but God is good - He forgives us, and the freedom you can feel on the other side is so worth it!
In this episode, I answered questions about:
By sharing with you vulnerably, I hope you feel stronger to embark on your own redemption journey.

If you're a woman (or human, for that matter), chances are, you struggle with body image and self-worth. I battled the enemy for years...constantly fighting to stay in shape, dieting, working out, and seeking external validation just to feel "good enough".
My guest, Jess Hottle, has had very similar experiences and business trajectory as me - she is a faith-based fitness coach, podcast host, speaker, and author. She doesn't like rules, restrictions, or religious duties! She lives her life putting God first; with authenticity, integrity, and freedom through Christ.
For too long, she let her body be her idol and men be her source or worth and value, and the success of her business determined her identity. But not anymore.
In this episode, we talk about all things body image, turning food fear into food freedom, trauma and shifting out of victim mentality, and how to change the narrative of our lives. Walk away from this episode feeling hopeful for your future and motivated to put action to your feet.

I love being pregnant! There are so many mixed feelings when it comes to pregnancy - everyone has a completely different experience. Some people love it, some not so much...I'm one of the lucky ones!
Good or bad, there's so much newness and change when you're pregnant. In this episode of the Chasing Freedom show, I am sharing with you some of the biggest changes I've noticed and new things I've had to navigate over the last 21 weeks.
On top of a broad recap of my pregnancy to date, I answer some juicy questions on: sex, nipples, keeping calm, preparing for the new born phase, hemorrhoids, exercise, staying positive during covid, cramping, and infertility fears.
If you're trying to conceive or dreaming about pregnancy one day, if you're pregnant and you want to hear another person's story, or if you're just plain curious, I hope my experience helps you navigate this season you're in.

Navigating this season of life is hard, right!? There is SO much going on and there are many of us out there who have only recently realized the extent of our white privilege for the first time. And if you're anything like me, that discovery is uncomfortable and you want to know what to do!
We want to feel like we are doing right by our sisters and brothers of color...to share and speak up and risk saying the wrong thing?...to stay silent and be perceived not to care? What to do? I spoke with a bunch of my white girlfriends and pulled together some questions about how we can better understand race issues, what we need to learn, and how to live with more compassion.
In this episode of the Chasing Freedom Show, I got to ask my friend, Eve Guzman, an incredible black, female entrepreneur, about all these things. We cover: How to be yourself AND stand up for justice in your business; How to act towards people of color in public; White privilege and what don't we know about living as a black person/family; What it's like to be mixed race; How the world of black, female entrepreneurs is evolving; What we can do to ignite change to ensure a different future.
I hope you leave this episode feeling equipped and empowered to stand with your brothers and sisters of color - I sure know I did!
