 DeNiro delivers a quietly tortured performance of Travis Bickle, set to a backdrop of New York city's underworld. Martin Scorsese's delivers one of the best films of his career. I ramble for an hour about why its so damn good.

Garden State follows Andrew (Zach Braff) as he returns to his home town for the first time in 9 years. Accompanied by Braff's Grammy winning soundtrack and buoyed by warm beautiful performances from all the cast, this coming of age story delivers on almost every mark. And I dissect as many of those marks as I can in 50ish minutes.

Back for episode 4! This time its 'Drive' starring Ryan Gosling as the stoic 'Driver' and his underground LA entanglements. Set to a stunning synthwave soundtrack and presented in a subtly arthouse style, listen to me breakdown what makes this 90 minute slow burn a real masterpiece.
