Then we will have Bret Davanaugh and his fishing partner Alex Bielfeldt from Reed Custer High School, who will be going to the Bassmaster National Championship at the beginning of August to compete against 350 other boats for the national title. Then Jim Templin owner of FishTech tackle store in Morton Grove and Kenosha and FishTech Guide Service will update us on the Salmon O Rama, and fishing on local waters in Wisconsin and Illinois.

Then Eilleen Rice, my favorite first grade school teacher from East Prairie School in Skokie with her fishing program for kids, did something we all need to remember. She took her Mother In Law who loves fishing but because of age and some physical limitations they were able with the help of Night Prowler Guide service take her out on a pontoon boat for a day of sun wind and fishing in Geneva. Just like the young kids we need to get the old kids out also. Then Ken Husker O’Malley will come on and talk about summer patterns we need to be switching to catch more fish.

Tony with a Lake Michigan Report calling in, Then Doug Ide from Inland Guide Service in Wisconsin who specializes in Delevan and Geneva and all the species in them. After Doug we will hear from Violetta Talley, a great female angler who fishes local and regional tournaments, does seminars and more. But what has me excited is she was part of a two-person tournament with no electronics on a lake they never fished before. I’m looking forward to that cause it was like old school fishing.

Then with all the heat that we have been going through, Allan Gray, a tournament director from Major League Fishing will come on and teach us how to properly care for fish in hot weather in your live well if you're in a tournament or recreationally fishing.

Then Ed Eisch the Assistant Chief of Fisheries for the State of Michigan will tell us how they had to euthanize 30,000 Atlantic Salmon fry to insure the health of the fish in Lake Michigan and rivers across the State of Michigan.

Then Violet Talley, a very very good angler and doing one heck of a job on the bass tournament scene will come on to talk about her latest tournament at Blarneys Bassmaster on the Chain O Lake in Illinois and how to change with the conditions even in mid tournament.

On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors 5-25-2024 show, we have The Capt.Tony with Lake Michigan Report, Troy Showerman Project Manager for the Forest Preserve of Cook County and his 10 million dollar project with funds from the State of Illinois to improve so much in the Palos Forest Preserve areas. Then Ty Nielsen and Zack Widelski from Wheaton North High school won the IHSA Bass Fishing Championship against 73 other teams from across the State of Illinois at Carlyle Lake last weekend. On this week’s Chauncey's Great Outdoors 5-18-2024 show we are at our live remote on Braidwood Lake for the Fish for A Cure fishing tournament. We have Capt.Tony's Lake Michigan Report, then Logan Kap from Constellation will be there for the Cystic Fibrosis Charity, then Brett Nauman from Constellation who has worked on this event for many years will bring us up to date. We are trying to get over the $900,000 level of all funds raised for the charities in 23 years
